Sunset Media Wave is a Bay Area Community Resources program located at the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district. We are funded by the SF Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF), the California Arts Council (CAC), and private donations. It’s Kind Of A _____ Story: Story Two

The song “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” by the Arctic Monkeys influenced this story. The song and my story share the same feeling and the fact I was standing in front of a mirror compelled me to write these words. I began with their line “The mirror’s image tells me it’s home time…” and then changed it into my own words.
