Hi, my name is Olivia and welcome to my column, Fashion Obscura! As you may have guessed, my column is about what I would consider the most accessible form of art: fashion. Though many people associate the world of fashion with pricey shoes and exclusive fashion shows, I can guarantee that it is far more approachable and fun than you might suspect!
As a little girl, I always loved fashion, and by the time I was in middle school my love had grown into a full-blown obsession. (Exhibit A: my mom likes to refer to my bedroom as a magazine archive with space for a bed.) Needless to say, I try to get my hands on anything and everything fashion-related. Though I still have a lot to learn, I have an abundance of strong opinions and what I like to think is a good eye. This column is a platform where I will share my unique perspective on fashion as a teenager. As a reader, you can look forward to a wide variety of posts, including ones covering topics like the evolution of the fashion show, how to be a conscious shopper, and profiles of current designers to watch.
