Hello readers of The Wave! I’m excited to welcome you to my newest column! For those of you who haven’t met me, I’m Jaimie and I used to write the column Monovlogs. This year, I am moving onto bigger and better things (just joshin’). But really, I’ve been falling in love with photography these past few months and decided to explore a different field for my time at The Wave. I’m only beginning, and I am ecstatic over the fact that I will be sharing my experiments and realizations with you wonderful people. Now get this—I want to formally introduce you all to my new blog. Get ready…
Welcome to Second Glances! I know—super stereotypical photography name. I’m sorry guys, this is the best I could come up with. It was either this or “Pretentious Pastels,” but I felt like too much of an a-hole with a name like that, so bear with me.
Did I mention how excited I am? At Second Glances, I’m going to be experimenting with photoshop, photography, and searching for what inspires me the most. I’m hoping to explore and define my sense of individuality through photography, to know what I’m into and what I’m not. I’m really into the ’90s and photography that depicts a specific decade. I’m also in love with San Francisco architecture and with fashion. My hope is to capture photos that give appreciation to kick-ass decisions made by others in each of these areas. Alright gang, get ready to join me in my little adventure with photography. See you soon!
