The Bay Area is known for a lot of things, one of which is the hyphy movement. If you hail from the Bay, you should know that when someone starts bumping Bay Area legends like E-40, Mac Dre, Roach Gigz, or Andre Nickatina, it’s time to get dumb. However, there are tons of artists from the peninsula that diverge from this genre of music. San Francisco, Berkeley, and Oakland are home to some of the Bay Area’s most unique musicians that define the sound of our diverse and eclectic region.
