Hi my name is Curtis and I am a new member at Sunset Media Wave. Ever since I was little I loved to bake, and my favorite desserts to bake back then were double or triple-layer cakes and crunchy little cookies. But for some unknown reason, I have been obsessed with pie for the last two weeks. I think the thing that really attracts me to pies is the crust. There are so many types of crusts out there: pie crusts can be crisp, flaky, airy, crumbly, sweet, buttery, or soft, and many times these traits are combined to create something even better. There are also so many ways to make the crust. Different doughs create different texture, and the amount you work it affects the outcome of the dough.
