For this post of Psychic Psychedelia, I chose to spice it up a bit. Instead of recreating existing album artwork, I’m focusing on a song that has no pre-existing album cover. Here is my vision of what an album cover for the Grateful Dead song, Estimated Prophet would look like. I incorporated Haight Street, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the gray city skyline with the Marin Hills just north of the bridge. I did this because the Dead has roots in San Francisco and I feel this is a good representation of them, the song, and the city.

“My time coming, any day, don’t worry about me, no
It’s gonna be just like they say, them voices tell me so”
-The Grateful Dead (written by John Barlow)
