My family.
2) What are you most ashamed of?
Wasting my time when I have things to do.
3) If you could go back and reverse one decision in your life, what would it be?
I wouldn’t have gotten married at such a young age and I would’ve gone to college.
4) What is your biggest dream in life?
To see my children happy and fulfilled.
5) What difference would it make in your life if you felt completely safe, completely accepted, and completely loved?
There would be a huge difference in all aspects. I would feel capable to do things that I currently believe I can’t do.
6) Do you think your parents did a good job while you were growing up? Why or why not?
Yes, because they instilled values in me. They taught me to be a responsible person and to see life in a positive way.
7) What’s one thing that you wish people understood about you?
My personality because people think I’m annoyed when I’m really not.
8) What is your biggest personal shortcoming?
I’m very impulsive.
9) What event in your life has shaped you most as a person, and how did it do so?
Coming here [United States]. Sometimes things that hurt you the most or that are more complicated for you are the ones that make you stronger.
10) Have you ever treated a person in a way that you regret? What would you do differently if given the chance?
Yes, if given the chance I would stay calm and analyze the situation before taking action.
11) Do you think it’s possible for men and women to be “just friends?”
Yes
12) Would you rather be rich and lonely or financially destitute with lots of great family and friends? Why?
Be financially destitute with lots of great family and friends because the greatest wealth you can have is to be with the people that you love.
13) Tell me about something you did when you were drunk that you’ve never confessed to anyone.
The rest already know about everything that I’ve done.
14) If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
I would like to be more organized because that way it would be easier to do the things that I’m supposed to do during the day.
15) If you knew you would die tomorrow, how would you spend today?
I would do the things that I enjoy doing the most and have a fun time with the people I love.
16) Are you truly happy? Why or why not?
I think so, because I’ve learned to adapt to the situations that come forth.
17) Have you ever been in love? How do you know, and what was it like for you?
Yes, to this day. It’s the necessity to be with the person that you like that makes you feel whole. To me this experience has been one of the most beautiful experiences in my life.
18) When you’re home alone and nobody else is around, how do you like to spend your time?
I like to sing and watch TV.
19) What do you want people to say at your funeral?
“We’re going to miss her, we’re going to think of her a lot”
20) If you could have a conversation with anyone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would like to converse with my maternal grandma because I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her since she passed away when I was 4.
21) Do you think you’re a genuinely good person? Why or why not?
I think so because where there’s necessity, I try to find a way to help.
22) How did you choose your current profession? Are you glad with your profession, or would you rather be doing something different?
I didn’t choose it in part, but yes I feel happy to be able to dedicate time to my children. Perhaps being a housewife isn’t a profession that you go to college to major in but I think it’s a job that carries out one of the most important tasks.
23) If money was not an issue, how would you spend your time each day?
I would buy clothes and food to bring to homeless kids or families in need.
24) Tell me about your political leanings. Have they changed since you were younger? How were they developed?
I do not have any because all of the Mexican parties are very corrupt.
25) What’s one thing that you do on a regular basis that you absolutely hate doing, but nobody knows how you feel about it?
Cleaning up all the mess.
26) Describe a memory you have about San Juan de los Lagos (Saint John of the Lakes).
I remember this one time that I was riding my bike with my little sister and we were pedaling really fast through the street when all of the sudden we crashed against a rock and we both fell off the bike. It was a bit painful but very fun.
27) What is your favorite customary dish from San Juan?
Taquitos
28) What kind of traditions do they have in San Juan?
The Fiesta de la Candelaria (Virgin of Candelaria Feast) which is celebrated through pilgrimages, dances, firework displays, and music.
29) What is most customary about San Juan?
It’s cajeta (caramel) and other candies such as membrillo (quince paste) , alfajor (coconut candy), jamoncillos (candy made with milk and sugar) and many more.
30) Did you like living in this city? Why?
Yes because I lived a peaceful and happy life.

Mi familia.

De perder el tiempo cuando tengo cosas importantes que hacer.

No me hubiera casado tan chica y hubiera estudiado una carrera
4) ¿Cuál es tu sueño más grande en esta vida?
Ver a mis hijos felices y realizados.
5) ¿Qué diferencia habría en tu vida si te sintieras completamente segura, completamente aceptada, y completamente amada?
Habría una gran diferencia en todos los aspectos. Me sentiría capaz de realizar cosas que no creo poder hacer.
6) ¿Crees que tus padres hicieron un buen trabajo criándote? ¿Porqué o porqué no?
Si,porque me inculcaron valores. Me enseñaron a ser una persona responsable y a ver la vida de una manera positiva.

Mi carácter porque las personas creen que estoy molesta cuando realmente no lo estoy.
8) ¿Cuál es tu mayor defecto?
Soy muy impulsiva.

El venir a vivir aquí [Estados Unidos]. A veces las cosas que más te lastiman o son más complicadas para ti son las que te hacen más fuerte.
10) ¿Alguna vez has tratado a una persona de una manera de la cual después te hayas arrepentido? ¿Qué harías diferente si tuvieras la oportunidad?
Si, si pudiera tener la oportunidad tendría paciencia y analizaría la situación antes de actuar.
11) ¿Crees que sea posible que una amistad exista entre un hombre y una mujer?
Si.
12) ¿Prefieres ser rica y estar sola o ser pobre y tener muchos amigos y a tu familia?¿Por qué?
Ser pobre y tener a mi familia y amigos porque la mayor riqueza es estar con las personas que uno ama.

Todo lo que he hecho lo saben los demás.
14) ¿Si pudieras cambiar una cosa sobre ti misma cuál sería y por qué?
Me gustaria ser mas organizada, porque creo que de esa manera se me facilitarían las cosas que debo hacer día a día.

Haría las cosas que más me gustan y me divertiria con las personas que amo.

Pienso que si, porque he aprendido a adaptarme a las situaciones que se presentan.

Si, hasta la fecha lo estoy. Es la necesidad de estar con la persona que te gusta que te hace sentir plena. Para mi esa experiencia a sido una de las más bonitas en mi vida.

Me gusta cantar y ver televisión.
19) ¿Qué quieres que la gente diga en tu funeral?
¨La vamos a extrañar, nos va a hacer mucha falta¨
20) ¿Si pudieras tener una conversación con cualquier persona ya sea viva o muerta, con quién sería y por qué?
Me gustaría poder hablar con mi abuelita materna porque conviví muy poco con ella ya que murió cuando yo tenía 4 años.
21) ¿Crees que verdaderamente eres una buena persona? ¿Por qué o por qué no?
Pienso que si porque donde hay necesidad veo la manera de cómo ayudar.
22) ¿Cómo escogiste tu profesión actual? Estás feliz con tu profesión o te hubiera gustado tener una profesión diferente?
En parte no la elegí pero si me siento feliz al poder dedicar mi tiempo a mis hijos. Tal vez ser ama de casa no sea una profesión a la que se va a la universidad a aprender pero creo que el trabajo que desempeña es uno de los más importantes.
23) ¿Si el dinero no fuera un problema o impedimento cómo pasarías todos los días?
Compraría ropa y alimentos para llevar a los niños de la calle o a familias con mucha necesidad.
24) ¿Cuáles son tus inclinaciones políticas? ¿Han cambiado desde que eras más joven? ¿Cómo han evolucionado?
Ninguna ya que todos los partidos son muy corruptos.
25) ¿Qué es algo que haces rutinariamente que odias hacer pero nadie sabe que te sientes así sobre esta situación?
Limpiar todo el desorden.
26) ¿Describe un recuerdo que tengas de San Juan de los Lagos?
Recuerdo una ocasión en la que llevaba a mi hermana pequeña en la bicicleta e íbamos muy rápido por la calle de repente la llanta delantera chocó con una piedra y caímos las dos al suelo fue un poco doloroso pero muy divertido.
27) ¿Cual es tu platillo favorito tipico de San Juan?
Los tacos dorados.
28) ¿Qué tradiciones tienen en San Juan?
La fiesta de la Candelaria, que se celebra con peregrinaciones, danzas, castillos y música.
29) ¿Qué es lo más típico de la ciudad?
La cajeta y otros dulces como el membrillo, alfajor, jamoncillos y muchos más.
30) ¿Te gusto vivir en esa ciudad? ¿Por qué?
Si me gustó porque viví tranquila y feliz.
