It’s the golden hour and you know what that means: spicy pictures! Golden Hour, the short period after the sunrise and before the sunset, creates a soft and cozy coat on everything it touches, leaving the perfect lighting for portraits and photography in general. In my column, I am going to explore how I create striking photos by playing with and manipulating the natural sunlight and exposure during this time. I plan on experimenting with new techniques and different aspects of natural exposure, shooting at various locations with friends who will join me for these shoots. In our time together, I hope to connect with my models by asking them obscure questions and documenting their moods through my camera’s eye.
