If you haven’t done so already, please check out the last post to see the first portion of the film.
In this segment of the film, Rhea attempts to get Raven to open up in a variety of ways. After losing someone so close to her, Raven needs a friend like Rhea to confide in. In this section, we follow Raven as she attempts to move on, but she has trouble because she is constantly being reminded of her sister, which triggers a cascade of emotions. If you’re familiar with the stages of grief, you will recognize that she is past the denial portion of grieving, but wavers between anger, depression and bargaining. As some of you may know, the stages of grief don’t always work in a straight line, and Raven’s process is an example that may feel familiar.
