This is my process for painting this piece:
First, I painted the sky and the ocean water so that it matched the photo. For the ocean, I chose to use a dark teal color, and for the sky, I used a light blue color. After finishing the top half of the canvas, I painted the bottom of the ocean brown to represent the ocean floor.
After covering the whole canvas with paint, I proceeded to add more details. At the very bottom of the piece, I painted seaweed and different corals. In addition, I added two sea turtles and a wooden door.
To make this painting even more colorful, I painted a school of fish using bright yellow colors.
