My name is Ellie Paik and my favorite pastime is singing karaoke at the top of my lungs. Ever since I can remember, I have loved music. I’ve been in multiple bands, played various instruments, and have performed the national anthem three times (which is always nerve-wracking). However, I have never written a song and have been wanting to for a long time. I have always viewed myself as a singer, but have never delved into the creative or artistic process of writing my own music. A part of me is nervous to share my vulnerabilities and put my whole self out into the world. I hope to overcome this by writing, singing, producing, and possibly performing my own song by the end of this cycle.
