For my column I’ve decided to challenge myself and go with digital art as I usually draw the old fashion way, pen and pencil. For this post I experimented and explored different ways to line my art. After dabbling in different forms of illustration, I’d say I found the process both fun and aggravating. The fun came from just being able to comfortably draw and experiment with lines and the aggravation came from the brutal cycle of deciding on a line art style. Also, with the combination of second-guessing myself, picking another style, and then trying to decide which approach I preferred.. I’m still exploring which line style I like at the moment though I’d say I prefer graphite at the moment because of how soft the lines are.
