Today I challenged myself to recreate my pen and paper post into construction paper. In my head, I thought of using this new medium as the same difficulty as my pen and paper version, but as i started working on the project, it was harder than I thought. When I bought my construction paper, I didn’t think too much about my color selection until I started to cut things out and started to place things together. I found out that i don’t have access to 2 colors which i needed: white and brown. Knowing that i had a couple of alternatives i can do: abandon those colors and use the ones i already have or to use printer paper and color the paper if needed. After asking my peers for some advice on what I should do, I was reminded to just embrace it and to think of it in an abstract way. Those words stuck to me as I continued cutting my pieces out and gluing them together. In the end, i think it came out pretty well.
