The films I’ve made in the past have always been about romance and, after heartache, I wanted to get away from that genre. After I saw a film a junior made, it reminded me of “Alice in Wonderland,” and I decided to make a sort of dreamy, yet goofy film. I made some changes to other things I usually have in films. I took out dialogue, only had two locations, and made very simple scenes that were easy to film and refilm if needed. I had a lot of fun making this film, and it changed my style a little bit.
