This digital painting is dedicated to one my favorite San Francisco spots that is often overlooked by the mainstream in favor of tourist destinations. The Cherry Blossom Cafe is a local bakery in the Richmond and a genuine reflection of what’s so great about our city. Having spent my childhood in family-owned shops like this one, this bakery makes me feel nostalgic and warm.
Sunset Media Wave is a Bay Area Community Resources program located at the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district. We are funded by the SF Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF), the California Arts Council (CAC), and private donations.
