- Here is my first teaser to my film Gruor Faction! Gruor is a veiled reference to gore and faction is my references to a group of people, ie. the killer’s list of victims. This film concept is an idea that I first thought about when I was in 8th grade and now I’m a sophomore who is ready to fully embark on this project.
My project is basically a marketing campaign for a movie. I was inspired by the marketing of Longlegs, so I decided, why not make a marketing campaign for my idea?
The script has gone through quite a lot of changes. Initially, it was inspired by the film Scream (1996) and later on, from Zodiac, The Evil Dead, Lady Bird and most recently, Longlegs.
The story revolves around a rookie detective named Agent Brooks who is assigned to solve a recent serial killer case. As the film progresses, he receives threats, and eventually discovers that there is more to the case than it meets the eye. So, hope you enjoy this tame teaser, and hopefully you feel some tension!
