Hey, I’m the Real Slim Katie! Thanks for taking the time to stop by! I’m going to be blogging about songs I love and posting some cheeky covers too. I like to cover songs that have a personal significance to me, which makes it much easier to recreate the music with honest emotion. Too many artists these days are focused on how technically good their voice is and not the message they are trying to convey. In my opinion, this makes it difficult to accurately represent who they are as artists and limits their potential. Here at The Real Slim Katie, I want to try to keep it fun, silly, and hopefully enjoyable! (I apologize in advance for the silly faces, CANT STOP WON’T STOP!)
