Hey, I’m Naomi. Welcome to the Guest List! I’ve always been interested in memory and have recently come to the realization that growing up in the bay (and just in general) can be a strange experience. In this column, I’d like to combine those two things by illustrating and interviewing people about their experiences in such a whack place, as it’s quite the tech/culture hub.
The seemingly irrelevant name comes from a friend and I meeting a band photographer on our way to a show at the Swedish American Hall. We knew the band he was photographing, and he put us on the guest list for their upcoming Halloween Party. It seems to me that stuff like that only happens in the bay. Please enjoy!
