For this post, I focused on making a “screenshot” for my game, Helianthus. The programs I used were Sketchbook and Photoshop. This post focused on the last set of my original characters, Yildun Linneaus. He was named after the Turkish word for star and famous Swedish scientist, Carolus Linnaeus, who invented the Linnaean classification system. His role in the game is the scientist, who is researching the invasion of the parasitic flowers. For your viewing pleasure, I’ve also included some early character sketches, so you can see how my scientist has evolved.
My quote is from the song “How” by The Neighborhood. I felt this that this quote relates to the game because of the world already being infected by parasitic flower zombies!
