Hello and welcome to my column From Ears to Eyes! This is my first post ever. Join me on my quest to turn some of my favorite songs into drawings. Music and art are very expressive and I want to transfer the emotions I feel from one to the other. I will be drawing mainly with pens and markers but I may switch things up from time to time. There will be short explanations in each post for the reason I choose to draw and color a song in a certain way. I hope you enjoy the songs and the art I do. There’s no song based art in this post but I’ll have one for you soon! For now, here’s one of my favorite songs “The Water Fountain” by Alec Benjamin to start.
