As I geared up for my fourth post at SMW, I hit a really difficult art block, due to the current quarantine situation. I went through many drafts and drawings before I decided to draw this portrait. Honestly, I’m still not sure exactly why I decided to settle on this image, but I felt really good about myself while working on this drawing.
This post is an image of a girl sweating. Looking back, maybe this is a subconscious response to coronavirus! In any case, I tried to make the face as detailed as possible. Overall, I’m especially proud of the eyes and mouth! It’s not my favorite drawing, but this particular one managed to help me get out of my art block, so I’m content with the final result and here to tell you that there’s light at the end of the tunnel!
