Night of the Serpent is an animation that I’ve been planning on making for a long time. I was greatly inspired by the Mayan mythology of a deity named Kukulkán. I also wanted to make this animation not only because a feathered serpent sounds awesome but also because I wanted to make a story that took place in a spot where my family comes from and where I’m familiar with, Mexico, Yucatan where the legend of the feathered serpent is popular. It is about a 50 ft long feathered snake who breaks free from his pyramid and goes out to party with other beings like him. The plot is very simple but what matters is how you execute it. I am proud of my project and I hope to make other future projects with the serpent.
