This short film is about the short notes my mother would write to me and my sister for our lunches every morning before work. It explores the expanding generational gap between the generation of our immigrant parents and their americanized first-generation children. My film serves as a love letter to all children of immigrants.
Sunset Media Wave is a Bay Area Community Resources program located at the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district. We are funded by the SF Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF), the California Arts Council (CAC), and private donations.
