The more I reflect on the past, the more I yearn to return to it. In this documentary, I revisit two of my former preschool teachers, Yuji & Misa, as I ask them to share stories from their lives and what led them to have such an impact on my own. I tie in memories from my time at their preschool and attempt to understand how my childhood was shaped by those experiences. Together we chat about their life in Japan vs. America, internal struggles and identity crises, the wonderment and empowerment of kids, what we can learn from them, as well as our shared experiences together.
